As the veil thins and the wheel of the year turns to Samhain, it’s a magical time to gather around with a warm, spiced herbal brew that both comforts the body and honors the spirit of the season.

Allow us to introduce you to a Samhain Spice Tea, a blend crafted from the heart of nature, resonating with the ancient whispers of this sacred time.

Ingredients

• 2 teaspoons dried Mugwort Herb (for a psychic boost)

• 2 - 3 Cinnamon Sticks (for protection)

• 1/2 - 1 teaspoon dried Ginger Root (for prosperity)

• 1/2 teaspoon dried Cloves (for grounding)

• Creamer, milk or other dairy alternatives (optional)

• Honey or Maple Syrup to taste (local honey is best)

Instructions

1. In a mortar, gently crush the cinnamon sticks and cloves to release their aromatic oils.

2. In a teapot, combine all the dried herbs and spices.

3. Pour boiling water over the mixture and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

4. Strain the tea into cups.

5. Add any cream, milk or dairy alternative you like.

6. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste, if desired.

7. As you sip, take a moment to honor the energies of Samhain, the ancestors who walk with you, and the herbal spirits infusing their essence into your celebration.

This Samhain Spice Tea is not just a warm beverage; it’s a cup of reflection, a sip of the ancient, and a toast to the unseen.

Brew this delightful mixture as a part of your Samhain celebration and feel the veil between worlds gently flutter in the steam rising from your cup.
